But one major thing Edit2: oct 15,2018 - I have csp ex on my Mac and had some animations I wanted to carry over to work on the iPad. The iPad version cannot handle all the features that the desktop has? So I couldn’t touch my file on the iPad. What a downer.

3/5 Edit: so I found how to do it! Lol, wow, so I’ll share it in case you’re like me. You can go to fileimportfrom photo library. For some reason I overlooked that. So I changed my rating to 5/5 I use this program on my Mac as well, so I’m used to it. This is my main program to animate (I’m an animation student) so I’m so happy that I could animate just as well as on the desktop version!! There’s one major downfall to this and it is that I cannot open any files from the iPad’s “photos”!

I want to be able to open up psd files that wasn’t initially created in csp. I’ve been playing around with it for awhile but I can’t seem to find a way to do that (if there is a way).

I tried importing too but no luck. This is super important to me and if this feature were there, I would give this a 6 star if I could (so a 5 would suffice). I just love this so much! I don’t think $9 a month is unreasonable, but I also wish there was a year subscription like how some apps have! I really hope this will be a feature in the near near future!! Sennel, Love this!! Caelanbaggins, I’ve given up on it It’s very clear that Celsys has no interest in making Clip Studio work with the iOS file manager (the “Files” app). It doesn’t let me open from, or save directly to, iCloud Drive or any other cloud service, and I can’t even drag and drop my files in and out of the app.

This is absurd and makes backing up a nightmare if I don’t want to use their cloud service, which I have no interest in doing because I like to keep all my work files in one place and I’m already paying for iCloud. It also doesn’t want people to install custom brushes from any source other than their “assets” web site. It’s doable, but again, there’s no drag and drop functionality and I have to manually open each individual brush file and import into Clip Studio, which is a nightmare when you have a large collection of brushes.

This is just a port of the desktop app with some touch gestures thrown in. It was not really made with the iPad in mind, and it shows. So after a year of fighting with it to make it fit with my workflow, I’ve officially given up and canceled my subscription.

Opppppy2848, Wish it could be better I personally kind of understand the monthly subscription considering how much the actual programs are, but as you can see, not many people here are fans of the subscription and u myself would have to agree on that term. It drives people away and is much more convenient to pay only once, but I don’t want you as a company to start giving out your product almost 1/4 of how it should be really priced.

The program itself holds many of the some features as the original but I do hope you can be able to program short cut keys for people who have Bluetooth keyboards. I’m happy that you have an opportunity to import brushes from the website but of course, it’s only under the subscription of the app. My only concern is that some of the windows feel unnecessary and just decrease my window for drawing, as I mainly only need to see my brushes, layers, and the color wheel when drawing. I do hope there is a compromise for a reasonable 1 time pay price because after using this program for quite a while, I’ve grown to love it and hopefully, I can love this in app form too.
