Aug 15, 2018  I have a Surface Pro 3 and the wifi will not work. Just keeps telling me 'No Networks Found'I have tried uninstall the driver from dev. 19 replies Tablets. Surface Pro 3 Wi-Fi not working. 'No Networks Found'. Network adapter has a yellow triangle next to it. 7) Disable device, the enabled device and restarted.

Hello, I am new here, I have to say that new version of Windows looks optimized more than ever, love the style and the functionality of it, but sadly I have some first problems, although I am still not sure if new update is causing them. Yesterday I updated my Windows 7 desktop PC to win10, and my internet worked perfectly, both wired and wireless. But today, it just stopped and until now it is still like that, famous yellow triangle. Tried almost everything, changing from DHCP to static, disabling firewall, updating/reinstalling network drivers.

Surface Network Adapter Not Working

I am not using any VPN as far as I know. My network adapter is nvidia nforce. After switching to static address, I noticed that my adapter changed from unidentified to network, but still in the status window of my adapter i see that ipv4 and ipv6 have no internet access. As I said, other devices work perfectly via wifi. There are many things I've messed during few hours of fixing it, so there are many things already forgotten, sorry about that, but I hope you will suggest me something and we'll sort it out in some way. Also sorry if there aren't more info, I will provide some pics tomorrow, since it's frickin' 3:30 AM here. Thank you very much.

Network adapter not working in windows 7

There have been driver issues with upgrading from 7 & 8 to 10. I would flush the DHCP info from the Gateway/Router, and also update the network drivers on your computer. If you are running any third party Internet Security Software, reset it, so that it picks up the new information, instead of trying to carry stuff over from 7.1. I already checked my driver, it was up to date - the one called NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller.

Not sure if I know the exact command for flushing the DHCP. It's in the cmd, right? I've flushed DNS, if it helps. I had only Avast on Windows 7, it seems that it's automatically uninstalled after the upgrade, there is no Avast anymore on my pc.

Besides that and standard windows security, I assume there is none of them anymore on hard drive. How can I check that without manually searching?

Thanks for reply, hope someone of you will help me. I made the desired changes, and after running commands, this happened. It seems that adapter doesn't respond.

Hi, My name is Scott McArthur and I am a Supportability Program Manager for Surface. Today I have a quick blog on some important deployment information regarding the Surface Ethernet Drivers. When doing a deployment, it is necessary to add the Surface Ethernet drivers to boot images (ConfigMgr, MDT, WDS). This blog will discuss where to get the drivers. First some technical details on the drivers themselves:. PNPID: VID045E&PID07C6. This is partial PNPID.

Windows 10 X86. msux86w10.inf. msux86w10.sys.

Windows 10 X64. msux64w10.inf. msux64w10.sys. Windows 8.1 X86. msu30x86w8.inf. msu30x86w8.sys. Windows 8.1 X64.

msu30x64w8.inf. msu30x64w8.sys Where to get the driver:. Starting with Windows 10 Version 1607 the Surface Ethernet driver is included so if you are deploying it should just work. Note the inbox version is 10.2.504.2016. A later version has already been released.

The.MSI package, which is used to update existing installs of Surface, does not contain the Surface Ethernet Drivers. The.ZIP package used for bare metal deployments (For example ) do not contain the Surface Ethernet drivers. To download the latest drivers for Surface Ethernet adapter, do the following:. Browse to the Microsoft Update Catalog. In the search box enter Surface Ethernet Drivers. When looking at the drivers pay special attention to the version column. At the time of this blog publication the latest drivers were:.

Windows 10: 10.2.704.2016. Windows 8.1: 8.18.303.2015 Notes:. Check back regularly for any new versions.

Surface Pro Ethernet Adapter Issues

There are 2 entries. One for x86 and one for x64. X86 is primarily for customers who have purchased the and using it on another device although you may be booting X86 based boot image but installing X64 operating system. Best practice is to include both in your deployments. The drivers support the older 10/100 adapter (model 1552), newer (model 1663), and Surface docks Update 4/24/2017 Just wanted to update this blog with the latest information. The name of the driver has changed in the Microsoft Update Catalog to “Microsoft-Net” Hope this helps with your deployments. Memory Management, Performance, Printing, Terminal Server.

Good afternoon Mr McArthur, Thank you for providing this write up. It took some digging before I found it, but looks to have the information needed to address an issue that has come up repeatedly for me. Each time we’ve done the Windows10 full refresh on a Surface Pro 3 (including an instance yesterday where we downloaded and installed the system image direct from Microsoft same-day, full restore) the drivers for the Ethernet Port on the Surface dock is not included in the distribution / refresh (comparing drivers in use and located in sys32 on a tablet that is working as expected).

Dell Computer Network Adapter Not Working

If it ended there, and they simply needed to download once wifi was setup, that’d be great, but Device Manager shows no bang; no Surface Ethernet Adapter at all. Using the same dock, we can swap tablets out for ones that have not been refreshed (only updated), and the Ethernet port appears and works without fail, so we know it is something with the tablet itself. In attempting to force install the driver and device, I was unable to get Win10 to display any models of network adapter when pointing at the INFs you provided. Do you have any other suggestions on how to add this network adapter after the fact, or do we need to plan to wipe the device and re-imaging with the files provided added to the USB system image, and cross our fingers that it will recognize another piece of hardware exists when we dock it?

Surface Network Adapter Not Working

Any help or direction you can provide is greatly appreciated. I have just attempted to update a SP4 running Anniversary Update (Driver ver. 10.2.504.216) with the latest Surface Driver and Firmware update MSI and the Surface Ethernet Adapter is NOT included in the MSI installation media. It updated a bunch of other firmware and drivers, but not the Surface Ethernet Adapter. I have checked back on previous versions of the MSI and I cannot find the specified msux64w10.inf or msux64w10.sys files. Is the only way to get the updated driver from the Microsoft Update Catalog?

If so, that is also out of date. The latest version I have installed on my SP4 running AU is 10.3.1115.2016 (from Windows Update) The latest version available from the Microsoft Update Catalog is: 10.2.701.2016 We would like to update the build with the latest driver, but some consistency would be nice. While I know this is a year oldwould be great if one could update to include the newerer model 1821 as i’ve found many that have the same issue as me where they ordered more adapters and the new ones dont work but old ones do. I’m hoping once i include this new version that it doesn’t break the old one. I’m guessing I need to remove the old one from my SCCM deployment before adding the new one? Also I am coming from a Win 8.1 SP3 trying to image it to Win 10 so which driver do I need, the OS it current has or the OS I want to go to?
