The following is a list of issues known to exist at the time of this release. Component Known Issues Defect ID Spotlight on Oracle Uninstall Having upgraded to Spotlight on Oracle 7.1 from an earlier release of Spotlight on Oracle Standard Edition (for example via Toad 10.0), if you uninstall Spotlight with the Quest Installer, only part of Spotlight will be uninstalled. This is due to RAC diagnostics and Predictive Diagnostics being added to Spotlight on Oracle 7.1.

Workaround: To complete the uninstall, use Add/Remove Programs to remove “Spotlight on Oracle (Standard Edition)”. N/A Toad for Data Analysts Installation Toad for Data Analysts will exit the installation if it detects that a DB2 client of Version 7 or earlier is currently installed, and will return the error code 200. Workaround: Rerun the installer and clear the Toad for Data Analysts checkbox in the 'Product Selection' page. All other applications should install correctly. Other error codes that Toad for Data Analysts may return (and will also a bort the install process): 100 - MDAC version is older than 2.6.

256 - The internal command passed to msiexec exceeds 255 characters. 500 - MSI execution failure. N/A Installation: Windows 64-bit Operating System If you attempt to install an application into the 'C: Program Files' directory in a 64-bit operating system, the OS/MSI converts it to 'C: Program Files (x86)'. In this case, the install location path in Quest Installer is different from the actual location. This means that you will not be able to uninstall the application using the Quest Installer.

Workaround: Use the 'Add and Remove Programs' utility in the Control Panel to uninstall the application. N/A Installation: Windows 64-bit Operating System - Oracle Client Issue The application supports a Windows 64-bit OS. However, changes will need to be made to the installation path during installation.

The default install directory for 32-bit applications on a 64-bit OS includes parenthesis as shown in the following example: C: Program Files(x86) Quest Software According to, there is a network error that results causing any path with a parenthesis to have an issue. Toad will have to be installed into a different folder without the parenthesis as shown in the following example: C: Quest Software Workaround: RESOLUTION 1: Create a new folder that is not under the Program Files folder, such as C: Quest Software and install Toad under this new folder. The installation program allows you to change the default installation path. RESOLUTION 2: Upgrade to an Oracle Client 11g version. The following is an 11g Oracle Client download link that we recommend. Oracle Database 11g Release 1 Client (11.1.0.6.0) for Microsoft Windows win3211gR1client.zip (510,809,607 bytes) N/A Installation: Performance issue related to digital signing If the signed installer is located on a network share, the entire file needs to be transmitted (to the local machine) before installation can commence. This is because the entire file needs to be read in order to verify the digital signature.

Workaround: If you plan to run the Quest Installer frequently, it is advised that you copy the installation bundle to a local hard drive. N/A Installation: The format of the file 'ToadStudioAdapter30.dll' is invalid The format of the file 'ToadStudioAdapter30.dll' is invalid. This is related to having previously installed a version of 'Toad Studio' that included an old version of QAIT. Workaround: Install the latest version of QAIT. Please contact Quest Support for information on where you can obtain the newer QAIT version. N/A Installation: Notification of insufficient space The Quest Installer provides a warning during installation if insufficient disk space exists for the installation.

If the installation is a new install, you can continue with the install, but it will fail due to a lack of disk space. If the installation is a repair or upgrade, you can continue with the install since it reuses disk space by overwriting the existing files. 58400 Note: System requirements vary depending on what application or suite you are installing using the Quest Installer.

Hello dears I installed and activate 'TOAD for ORACLE' on PSM Server in order to connect on oracle target via CyberArk. When i tries to connect to the target, via Cyberark, the PSM server run the TOAD for Oracle.exe, but they show on windows of Toad for Oracle as what it's not activate, so th econnection to the target fail. In my checking, i realise that TOAD for Oracle is only activate for my session on the PSMServer and not for other session. Specially, the session that PSM Server use to run the software TOAD for Oracle.

How can i resolve this? Anyone have one idea?

I finished to see it in the installation guide. I have done the process but that doesn't resolve my problem. Still ask License when i try to connect to the target with the connector. In the installation guide.

Il is said to enable th eTOAD license for all users. But anywhere it is not propose to enable the license for all users. When i lunch TOAD after installation, that ask license key, i click ADD, and put the license key and the site message. Anywhere that ask me to enable for all users.

In fact it is TOAD for ORACLE i installed. I don't know if anyone know how to active it for all users?

Thanks. In installation guide.

It is said to copy the file license.xml to 'C: Users Default AppData Local Quest Software' What i done. But the connection doesn't work. I finished to put the file license.xml in the all user 'directory' who are on the PSM Server.

And after i proced by elimination and i realise that it is with one user the connection works. The user is named PSM-D000. I suppose this user is the shadow user taht the PSMSERVER use to connect to the target. I you know something, i want your confirmation.

But how can i identifie this user on another PSMSERVER? My problem now is to find the right user in which i can put th file license.xml for all user. I come here to thank everyone who have help me to know how to avtivate 'TOAD FOR ORACLE' for PSMUSERS. Like mentioned by someone, the process is in the installation guide. But when i put the file LicenseProduct.xml in the default folder as recommended by CyberArk. That doesn't work for me.

I finished to put the licenseProduct. Xml in the AppData folder from the folder 'ALL USERS' And now everything is ok. I can to connect to the target with the connector TOAD and the software lunch without ask license again.

I work very well. Tahnk you to all of you.
